Baldur's Gate 3 will launch on August 3rd for PC and September 6th for PS5. The game will have full controller support and up to 4-player cooperative play. Baldur's Gate 3 will not be cross platform, you can only play the game with other players on the same platform as you.
True to the series, Baldur's Gate 3 will be a party-based RPG. You can partner up with up to 4 other players in cooperative play, on the same platform. The game will not feature cross platform play at launch and we could not find any details showing it was going to change. The game combat system is based off the Dungeons & Dragons 5e ruleset. So, for any Dungeon & Dragon fans out there, you should certainly consider purchasing the game.
